Forest Village Camp: Tamarack (week 2)
Conor Millard, July 15, 2019
Hey Tamaracks! Thank you for the facepaint. On the hottest day of the week, the 9 loyal members of the Tamarack Guild walked the Monkey Run Trail down to a shady stream. We skipped, I don't know how many rocks, (some campers estimate somewhere between 10 billion and a google-plex). The clay by the stream made for good face paint and some of the entrepreneurs in the group set up a salon for face and nail design.
Later in the week we heard rumors of a Water Fairy hanging out by the Trillium Camp Creek. After lunch, we went out in search of this mystical being and found her singing to the creek. She was glad to see us. We played her favorite games, and we also got to ask her lots of questions. For instance, "Where do you live Water Fairy?"
"Everywhere and nowhere!"
A few photos of some of the fun we had follow.
